1. Duties of Authors
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. If the authors have used the work or words of others, it must be properly cited or quoted.
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is considered unethical publishing behavior.
Authors must present accurate data and objective discussion. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is unacceptable.
Authors must acknowledge all sources of data used in the research.
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.
If an author discovers a significant error in the published work, the author must immediately notify the editor and cooperate to retract or correct the paper.
2. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts should be published based on the validity of the work and its importance to researchers and readers.
Editors evaluate manuscripts without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process.
Editors must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and publisher.
Editors must not use unpublished materials in their own research without written consent of the author.
3. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.
Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents.
Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively and express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
