Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Global Edukasi (JGE) is committed to ensuring the originality of all submitted manuscripts. Every manuscript submitted to the journal will be checked using plagiarism detection software before it is sent to the peer review process.
The similarity check is conducted to prevent plagiarism, duplicate publication, and self-plagiarism. The acceptable similarity index must not exceed 25 percent, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.
If a manuscript shows a similarity level higher than the allowed limit, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected depending on the level of similarity.
Plagiarism in any form is not tolerated. This includes copying text, ideas, data, or results from other works without proper citation, as well as submitting previously published work without clear acknowledgment.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal has the right to retract the article and inform the author’s institution if necessary.
The journal follows academic publication ethics and is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, and honesty in the publication process.
